1991年、LAのバーモントアベニューにオープンしたエクストララージ。
その時、その瞬間に、最もエッジの効いたスニーカーをブランドにこだわらずにセレクトして提案するというそのスタイルは、当時とてもセンセーショナルなものでした。
エクストララージ原宿店1Fにオープンする【VA】は、そんなスニーカーカルチャーの原点にふたたび戻り、世界のスニーカーブランドから【VA】の視点で見た本当に価値のあるアイテムだけを厳選してプレゼンテーションしていきます。
またadidasが世界各国の限られたショップとのみ展開する「コンソーシアム」ラインを取り扱います。

VAとは？
【VA】とは、オムニバスCDなどの表記に使われる「Various Artist」の略。
同じコンセプトの中でも様々な表現手法や解釈があるように、このショップもまた、強いオリジナリティや輝きを持ったアイテムを集め、皆様にオムニバス形式でご覧いただき、スニーカーカルチャーの新しい可能性を描き出していきたいと思います。

Opened its first XLARGE STORE in '91 on Vermont Avenue, Los Angeles.
It was a completely new approach by XLARGE back then to select sneakers regardless of the label and to simply suggest the most updated look at the time.
【VA】 which is opening at the XLARGE HARAJUKU Store is going back to this original sneaker culture concept to present and to share various labels carefully chosen by 【VA】.
